Many players get together regularly with friends to play a game of bridge. Unfortunately, many hands occur where the players are baffled either by the correct way to bid the hand or how the declarer (or defenders) should have played. There are often valuable lessons to be learned from these hands, but without the necessary expertise these opportunities are wasted.

Robert Baker will provide expert tuition on any given topic (bidding, play or defence) and then provide prepared hands to illustrate the points raised. These hands can then be played under Robert’s supervision, with friendly advice available throughout so that the optimum contract may be reached and the standard of play and defence lifted.

This is an ideal way for groups of four or more players to improve their understanding of any chosen area of the game and then to put into practice what they have learned. There is little doubt that this is the easiest and most efficient way to improve whilst enjoying a friendly game of bridge.
