Bridge Evenings at The Old Priory Hotel, Midsomer Norton

Friendly Bridge Evenings – an opportunity for improving players to play bridge in very pleasant surroundings with Robert Baker (English Bridge Union Life Master) on hand to provide advice and assistance.

Depending on numbers, we either play a small duplicate movement (usually four tables) with almost instant scoring at the end or, if the number of players is not suitable, rubber bridge.

In addition, the English Bridge Union Teachers’ Association run occasional Simultaneous Pairs competitions designed for improving players. The next one of these will take place towards the end of March (2004).

This is an ideal way to develop your Bridge skills and enjoy a relaxed evening of Bridge. Also, there is no need to pre-book or even attend regularly – just turn up for an enjoyable evening’s bridge.
