Improve Your Bridge: Bidding

One of the most important aspects of the game of Bridge is to consistently reach the right contract. This course, which runs for ten weeks, is designed for players who know the basics of the game. It will lead them step-by-step through the most important areas of bidding, including opening bids, responses and rebids and an introduction to the important area of competitive bidding.

Each lesson will include a presentation on the week’s topic, and will be followed by prepared hands to illustrate the theme in practice. The course follows the Modern Acol Bidding System developed by the English Bridge Union, and so will be consistent with the system learned by other players throughout England.
